Sponsored post-ness aside, I do love Etsy. I’ve mentioned my fairly unhealthy and potentially bankrupting love of candles several times on this blog. And Etsy is on to me with their candle gift guides.

I also like it for unique and personalized gifts. I’ve used it as a go to for cast and crew gifts many times (disclaimer: I absolutely do not think you ever have to give cast and crew gifts and this very much depends on your financial state, size of the group, how much you like the group – because heaven knows we’ve all had some of those shows. It’s totally up to you and should never be expected).

Etsy tries to help us out with things like Gift Guides for Her or Gift Guides for Him and while these can be useful, what’s out there for the true stationary appreciating, neurotically organized, theatre lovin’ stage managers out there?

Also, I have to admit that I’ve never been a huge fan of items that indicate everyone else is an idiot, stage managers are gods or other superhuman creatures, most things commenting on panic, or the weird slew of slogans that are actually kind of negative. I must admit though that I do not consider ninjas superhuman, I consider them awesome, so ninja related slogans are fair game.

With that in mind, let’s see what we can find this year. I usually aim for under a certain amount of money in my roundups but this year we aim for positivity and awesomeness (very subjectively declared so by me) as our parameters for this search.
