So I really like personal finance blog hops and link ups because I think they help us grow as a community and they are one of the easiest ways for new personal finance bloggers to start showing off what they’ve got!
That being said, there aren’t a lot of them! The Mommy Bloggers and the DIY-ers and the Foodies have totally taken to this form of sharing and community and we’ve largely let it slide by in favor of carnivals… which actually feel really impersonal to me.
If you’re interested in getting a little more involved in the community and reading some excellent posts from seasoned #PF bloggers and newbies alike, you can check out some personal finance friendly link ups here.
Today I want to feature Thrifty Tip Thursday. Everything Thursday this awesome link up is hosted by Kylie over at The Thrifty Issue and actually, since she’s Australian, it goes live Wednesday eveningĀ for us Northern Americans.
My favorite post from last week’s link up was Kylie’s “Low carb, low fat ways to reduce your groceries.” I am a terrible grocery shopper, so whenever I can find some good advice on how to shop for cheaper, healthy options, I’m game. You can check out her post here:
Each Thursday bloggers can link up a thrifty post to share with everyone to read. If you have any thrifty tips yourself you can blog about them or leave a comment. Or if you have suggestions on something you want us to blog about, feel free to leave them in the comments too.
#ThriftyThurs is the hashtag and we created a cute little button you can use
Link up any thrifty post below and we’ll be sure to check them out.
Love link ups…especially this one! I agree about carnivals being impersonal. And the links there hardly ever get clicked through. Link ups I’ve gotten a lot of traffic from.
