Bathroom

You might not think it, but the bathroom is a big deal to people. Bath or no bath, rain shower head, bidet, double sink. The more luxurious styles of bathroom are in – big time. So if you have an avocado green bathroom set from the ’70s and you are trying to sell, you will get knocked down on price – because know they will want to replace that asap.

Think practical and pretty. Try and make the space look at large as possible, by lightening it up, or if you’d rather, have something with an executive feel and go for a slate grey.

Tile can be one of the cheaper ways to upgrade your bathroom. Swapping from big tiles to smaller, more intricate patterns. Subway tiles tend to suit most tastes and aren’t too pricey. You can do it bit by bit if you need to too.

Flooring

Carpet doesn’t reign supreme anymore, not now wood flooring is so affordable. If you are lucky, under your carpet is already the perfectly laid floor, ready to sanded down, and coated with a protective layer.

Laminates, hardwoods, and tile floors are not only easier to clean, but they don’t have a habit of soaking in the dust, dirt, and other mess. You can clean and polish the floor with ease, and it will always come up beautifully. Wooden floors are also a great thing for buyers because they don’t want to think about pulling up carpets or needing to call in heavy-duty cleaning specialists. Wood, tile, and laminate are ready to go flooring. And they look beautiful too.

Solar Panels

What could be better than buying a home that saves you money on your bills every year? Not much to be honest. The solar panels will not only cut some cash off your current costs, but the next buyers will enjoy the benefits for years to come too.

Kitchen

The kitchen is the heart of the home. Tasty food is cooked here, coffee is brewed, and conversations are had too. Kitchen tops often get the raw end of the deal and are misused a lot. So invest in some higher quality ones, like marble or treated wood. They look better, will last longer, and are easy to clean too.
