Word of mouth is really how we roll these days, isn’t it? My two best friends and I have a group chat that regularly pings with a message that one of us found an awesome deal.

Sometimes it’s a sale on something we know one of the others would love or sometimes it’s an amazing coupon.

Now there’s a website that’s hip to the idea of crowdsourcing coupons and deals. Dealspotr.

Dealspotr uses the hive mind of the Internet to compile the best and most recent deals and evaluate whether or not they’re still valid.

I recently received an email from Starbucks encouraging me to reload my Starbucks card with $10 using my Visa Checkout option and they’d add an extra $10. That’s a pretty awesome deal!

So I headed over to add it to Dealspotr only to find it was already listed – but I was able to validate it along with plenty of other caffeinated money savvy folks. There are a lot of us every day people out there letting you know the deal is legit. You can also leave notes about how smooth the process was for you.

You can set up a section called My Feed that is personalized to things you’d want to see coupons for. Mine is full of coffee, Taco Bell, restaurants I eat at out on the road and travel deals. This is awesome when for when I travel for work!

As if I didn’t mention I like coffee enough, I was the current top hit on coffee deals for a little while. :oP

With Christmas around the corner, I also scoured the site for coupons for stores where I planned to pick up gifts and nearly every single one had at least one active coupon code listed and it had been validated by another human being recently.

And if online shopping isn’t really your idea of a good time, Dealspotr also has an in-store coupons section that you can print and take with you.

Since it launched a year ago, Dealspotr has saved its users more than $15 million with its coupon codes. That’s a pretty solid start, wouldn’t you say?

Why bother with entering the coupon codes you find? Incentives, of course!

Every time you enter a deal or validate a deal, you get points. At 10,000 points, you can start redeeming them for gift cards. 10,000 points equals $10. You’ll receive those gift cards in 1 to 3 days via email.

If you’re interested in joining, click through this link to earn an extra +5,000 points when you sign up and add your first deal or enter the code BROKEGIRLRICH. If you’re a blogger interested in checking out Dealspotr, drop me a line and I can send you over an Influencer invite.
