Financially Savvy Saturdays #74

Welcome to Financially Savvy Saturdays, the savviest personal finance blog hop on the planet, created specifically for personal finance writers! We welcome all things money here. Whether you’ve written anything from thrifty travel hacks to money saving app reviews, you’re invited to link-up.

If it ties into personal finance, we want to read it!

AIP Protocol

I am super excited to co-host again this week with Emi from Autoimmune-Protocolling Around the World where she writes about how to eat healthy, organic food all around the world without going broke. Check out her blog for a really different spin on living frugally AND healthily.

Tweet about it. You can use #finsavsat when tweeting about the party!

Concerns about SEO? Recently many bloggers have decided to stop participating in events such as Carnivals. If you’re worried about how participating in this link-up could effect your SEO, I’d encourage you to check out this article.

Interested in co-hosting? Co-hosting is fun AND easy. If you’re interested, you can email me at brokeGIRLrich (at) gmail.com with any questions. Or if you’re ready to take the plunge, you can sign up on this Google doc.

If you’ve co-hosted before and enjoyed it, consider doing it again!

Feature of the Week

As this week’s co-host, Emi has selected her favorite post from last week’s blog hop to be this week’s feature, but some weeks it’s just too hard to pick only one. Emi was torn and I agree – these two were my favorites last week too!

First up – Rebecca of Stapler Confessions wrote Will I Regret Buying a House? Emi picked it because “my desire to see and go everywhere causes such cognitive dissonance because I want my very own permanent home!” Lady, I totally feel you!! And great post, Rebecca!

Like I said, it was a whopper of a week and Emi’s other choice for this weekend’s feature is by Stefanie of The Broke and Beautiful Life who wrote How I Save in New York City. Emi noted “reading this makes me want to finish writing the “How to Save in Tokyo” article I started ages ago… except the best advice I could come up with was: don’t live there” – no one seems to make NYC seem livable quite like Stefanie!
